Legal Link’s training programs support community partners to act as justice workers who help to identify legal issues, surface unmet legal needs, and access legal protections. Partners who complete a training course become a part of our network of community justice workers and receive ongoing support through monthly newsletters and access to individual remote consultations with Legal Link attorneys. The Legal First Aid ® Training Program trains client-facing staff in our unique curriculum, builds legal navigation skills, and provides ongoing direct legal support via remote legal consultations and access to key tools and resources. Participants who complete the two-part course receive a certification in Legal First Aid.

Housing Justice Worker Trainings

Housing issues can quickly escalate into eviction proceedings, displacement, and homelessness. Through its Housing Justice Worker Trainings, Legal Link supports community partners to act as justice workers for families experiencing housing insecurity. Learn how to identify key legal issues that impact housing stability, surface risks for eviction, refer clients to free expert housing attorneys, and keep tenants housed.
